Just wandering about…
I’ve been a wanderer since I first strapped on a backpack in college and figured out how to navigate Europe by train. Three decades later, I still believe the best way to understand a place is to move through it slowly, ask questions, and eat what the locals eat.
Home base is Georgia, USA, but I’m happiest with a Leica in hand, a fishing rod in the car, or a passport stamped somewhere new. I’m a PADI Master Scuba Diver, an avid photographer, and a serious home cook who treats every trip as research for the next dinner party. Scorpio, highly intuitive, father of two boys.
After more than two decades negotiating large global deals and building procurement and analyst organizations, I’ve learned that most things worth doing, whether closing a contract or crossing a border, come down to relationships, curiosity, and paying attention to what matters to people. I’m a Pepperdine and USC graduate and a proud dad of two sons.
This site is where I share what I find along the way: places, photographs, recipes, and the occasional lesson learned the hard way.
